Who we are
Seven Nights is run by Zentient AI, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the website, the Seven Nights app, and the emails we send. Questions or requests: hello@sevennights.choline.app.
What we collect
From you, when you use Seven Nights:
- Your email address, and your name if you give it.
- Your purchase: what you bought, the amount, the date, and the order number from our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
- The sleep quiz, including information about your baby’s health (see the next section).
- Your plan and what you log: bedtime, the times your baby fell asleep, woke and fed, and which night you’re on.
- Your 30-second morning recap: how you’re feeling (1 to 5) and whether your baby is sick.
- Lesson progress and your answers to lesson questions.
- Your settings: time zone, reminder choices and, if you turn on push reminders, your browser’s push address.
- If you use the free schedule preview on the home page and ask us to email it: your email, your baby’s age band, how your baby falls asleep and how often they wake. We send the schedule, then a few short emails about Seven Nights over the next week, unless you unsubscribe.
- Technical details: your IP address and browser type when you sign in or start a checkout, the page you came from, and ad campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or Meta’s click ID).
Information about your baby’s health
To build a plan that’s safe to follow, the quiz asks about your baby. We store your answers:
- Your baby’s first name (optional) and birth date.
- Whether your baby was born early, and by how many weeks.
- Whether your baby is gaining weight well.
- Whether your baby snores loudly or pauses in breathing.
- Whether your baby is sick right now.
- Whether a doctor is following your baby for a condition, such as reflux or a stay in the NICU.
- Whether a doctor has said to keep night feeds, and whether your pediatrician has said it’s okay to reduce them.
- Where and how your baby sleeps now, night wakings, night feeds, naps, and your usual bedtime and wake time.
Why we use it
We use this information only to run Seven Nights for you:
- To check the plan is right for your baby. If an answer is a health red flag (for example, poor weight gain or pauses in breathing), the plan stops and asks you to talk to your pediatrician first.
- To build your plan, show tonight’s steps, and adjust the plan from your log and morning recap.
- To send the emails and reminders you signed up for.
- To give you access after you pay, process refunds, and keep records the law requires.
- To fix problems and keep the service secure.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your information. We don’t use your baby’s information, your log or your morning recaps for advertising, and we don’t use them to train AI models. Plans are built by fixed rules, not by an AI model.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job for us. None of them receives the quiz, your baby’s information, your log or your morning recaps, except our hosting provider, which stores them for us.
- Polar (polar.sh) processes payments as the merchant of record. It receives your email and payment details directly when you check out, and handles sales tax.
- Sentry receives error reports when something breaks on the website or our server. A report can include your IP address, browser type and the page you were on.
- Cloudflare hosts our website, server, database and lesson files, and sends our emails, so it receives your email address and the email’s content.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). On our home page, the Meta Pixel in your browser records your visit and steps like previewing a schedule, asking for it by email and starting a checkout, whether or not you came from one of our ads. Our server also sends Meta’s Conversions API a few events (a schedule emailed, a checkout started, a purchase) with a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email address, your IP address, your browser type, Meta’s click and browser IDs, and the purchase amount. Meta uses this to measure our ads. We never send Meta your quiz answers, your baby’s information or your log.
- Your browser’s push service (from Apple, Google or Mozilla) delivers push reminders, if you turn them on.
Cookies and similar storage
We use a cookie to keep you signed in. Your browser also stores your app settings and any log entries waiting to sync. The Meta Pixel on our home page sets its own cookies to measure our ads. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings; the course still works.
How long we keep it
- Your account, plan, log and quiz answers: until you delete your account.
- A quiz that the health check stopped: we keep it so the decision can be checked, then delete it after 90 days.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you delete your account, they are no longer linked to you, and the email on them is replaced with a hashed copy.
- Schedule preview requests (your email and your three answers): until you ask us to delete them. If you later buy and then delete your account, they are deleted with it. Unsubscribing stops the emails but doesn’t delete the request; email us for that.
- Error reports: for Sentry’s standard retention period.
Export or delete your data
In the app, Settings lets you download everything we store about you and your baby as a file, and delete your account.
Deleting your account signs you out everywhere straight away. Seven days later we permanently delete your account and everything tied to it: your baby’s profile, quiz answers, plan, log, morning recaps, lesson progress and reminders. (The 7 days let us undo a deletion made by mistake.) You can also email hello@sevennights.choline.app to ask for a copy, a correction or deletion, and we’ll reply within 30 days.
Consumer health data (Washington, Nevada and other US states)
Some US state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law, give you extra rights over “consumer health data.” For Seven Nights, that means the health answers in the quiz (listed above), whether your baby is sick, and your 1-to-5 mood rating.
We collect it from you, only to provide the plan you asked for and keep it safe, as described in “Why we use it.” We collect it only when you choose to take the quiz or fill in a morning recap. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with advertisers or other third parties, only with our hosting provider, which stores it for us under contract.
You have the right to see this data, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Use the export and delete options in Settings, or email hello@sevennights.choline.app. If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and if you are still not satisfied you can contact your state attorney general.
Children
Seven Nights is for parents and other adult caregivers. We collect information about babies only from their parents, to provide the course. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored in a managed database with restricted access. Sign-in uses one-time email links, so there’s no password to steal. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and, for big changes, email you first.
